University of Pennsylvania - Student Worker Manager & Campus Event Manager

Work as a campus event manager at Perelman Quadrangle, Student Union, and VPUL Performing Arts Facilities and assist with the management of a variety of student affairs facilities (and the associated event support services operation) with a primary focus on student union operations.

Qualitative Research on Student Affairs Assessment

· Designed a qualitative research on assessing how Chinese international students are satisfied with their experience at Penn, and wrote a proposal about this research; designed Interview Protocol for the research; conducted individual and group interviews; transcribed all the voice records of the interviews.
· Distributed a survey, which I designed using Qualtrics, to the Chinese students group at Penn and got 73 responses; wrote reflexive and analytical memo during the whole research process; analyzed all the data I collected and wrote an analytical report about the research.

Data Analysis Project for the Netter Center at Penn

· Informed and improved the Netter Center’s programming and service delivery by collecting and cleaning data and utilization plan.
· Designed a systematic and comparable collection process across Netter Center programs and partner schools in order to provide accountability to stakeholders, diagnose problems, and maximize student outcomes through improvements to programming.

Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Annual Conference, Philadelphia

· Assisted the registration of attendees and welcomed them warmly; helped the job seekers at the career center of the ACUI conference about their resume and interviews; facilitated the reception event of 1000 ACUI attendees at Houston Hall.

Expo Shanghai

· Aided about 0.4 million tourists from 246 countries and international organizations in the EXPO site every day and provided Expo sightseeing information of 392 pavilions from 192 countries and 50 organizations to the visitors.
Organized activities and events to promote the theme of the exposition, “Better City, Better Life”; supervised the volunteer team from our university.
